This Mother’s Day let’s get a little back to normal. Bring mom and the family to an incredible Mother’s Day Brunch hosted by Chef Brandon Walker of Essie's.
Chef Walker will tantalize your palette with sumptuous cuisine inspired by his family roots in the Caribbean and American South while you enjoy the sounds of jazz by East Coast Jazz. Admission includes a four-course prix fixe meal and all mothers will receive a complimentary welcome cocktail.
Chef Brandon Walker, a Brooklyn native, is the executive chef and owner of Essie’s Restaurant in Poughkeepsie NY. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institue of America in Hyde Park and was recently a finalist on Season 47 Episode 19 of Chopped. His range of professional experiences in the culinary arts includes working in renowned New York City restaurants and traveling the world to expand his global knowledge of culinary cuisine.
East Coast Jazz is a Hudson Valley-based ensemble led by Mike LaRocco. Strongly rooted in the history of jazz. From swing to ballads to blues to be-bop to bossa, this versatile group can deliver the goods. They are regular performers at some of the top venues in the tri-state area.
